The Letter of James is one of the books in the New Testament. The author of this book introduces himself as “James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ”. Many scholars believe that this James was the brother of Jesus Christ. In his letter, James encourages the believers to be patient in difficulties, to show their faith in action by helping those in need, to be careful with what they say about others, and not to trust too much in worldly riches and a long life.
